Just a quick note to all of our customers:
Due to Houston being in the possible path of not one, but two hurricanes coming within hours of each other, orders may get delayed start Wednesday the 26th.
We at Upgrade Keyboards will be just fine – even during the once in a lifetime flooding and hurricanes we have experienced here in the last several years, we have always remained safe and dry. The inventory is safe and sound, and orders will resume -IF- they get delayed.
We will attempt to notify any customers placing an order, but you may reference this page for any further updates as things progress over the next 2-3 days.
UPDATES WILL BE POSTED HERE
Added 8/25/2020 5:30pm CST:
At the moment, the weather reports that the worst of the storm will miss us. We are expecting some high winds and a bit of rain, but nothing too terrible.
Speaking with our UPS rep today, they informed us that delays are going to be expected for anything, whether we are impacted or not – So while we may still be able to ship your orders out immediately, they may take an extra day in transit.
Will post more when we know more.
Added 8/25/2020 10:00pm CST:
Any orders placed today after 4pm, and into Wednesday morning will be picked up in the morning to attempt to get them out of Houston before the storm. If you place an order after Wed at 9am, it may be held for a day.
Added 8/27/2020 2:00am CST:
It appears the storm has veered north at the last second, leaving us wet, but mostly out of harms way. (Others will unfortunately be far less lucky than us tonight)
While our normal shipping will resume, we are advising people that both UPS and USPS have issued delays because of the storm, so packages may take longer to get to you.
This storm is going to destroy thousands, if not millions of lives. Please consider donating to the American Red Cross, or World Central Kitchen, who will undoubtedly be out there (in the middle of a pandemic no less) trying to feed the hungry that just lost everything, and the first responders trying to save innocent people from harm.
